Richard Taylor is a Partner of Anderson Partners specializing in telecommunications, technology and automotive/manufacturing search activities. Previously, he was a Principal in the Dallas office of Heidrick & Struggles, Inc. and a member of the Telecommunications Practice. Richard has conducted senior-level search assignments for communications/telecom industry clients addressing the wireline infrastructure, wireless equipment and carrier, telecom professional association, CATV, and data networking arenas, among others.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles in 1994, Richard was a founder and President of ExecSource, a firm specializing in competitive intelligence and candidate identification research. He previously served as Division Manager for the Technology and Information Systems search practice of Roth Young Executive Search and as an educator in Oklahoma City.

Richard received a B.M.E and a M.Ed. degree in Guidance and Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. He is Past Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Business Computer Information Systems Department at the University of North Texas and previously served as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Curriculum. He is also an active member of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), the premier group of its kind within the automotive aftermarket industry, has served on the Advisory Board of the American Youth Symphony, and is a member of the Navy League of the United States. Richard resides in Richardson, Texas.
