Impact on Human Capital
Anderson Partners, a leading executive search firm, recently completed an engagement with a prominent Dallas-based corporation that will have a major impact on the company's Human Capital Management strategy for many years to come. The firm's client, an international construction company with revenues approaching $12 billion, is a perennial "most admired" company by Fortune magazine. The assignment was to assist in the selection and recruitment of Vice President, Human Resources executives for each of the seven operating regions of the largest business unit. The firm's objective was to find talented, highly motivated and experienced HR professionals who could quickly learn the business growth strategies and serve in a new role as a business partner with the Region Executive Vice Presidents. The Regions average over $1 billion in annual revenues and approximately 2,000 employees. At the corporate level, Anderson Partners also assisted in the recruitment of a new Vice President, Talent Management who will work closely with the senior executive team in the execution of new human capital management strategies supporting long-term corporate growth strategies.
Anderson Partners completed the engagement in six months. Over 75% of the new HR executives have advanced degrees including one PhD. The successful candidates gained relevant experience within excellent companies including PepsiCo, Walt Disney, Bristol Myers Squibb, Manpower and Exxon Mobil. These HR veterans will draw upon their respective 20+ years of experience in order to positively impact the company's Human Capital Management plans for the future.
